The latest buzz is that Denny ( Jeffrey Dean Morgan ) will be in a few eps this season. Many see this as odd because as we all know, Denny perished at the end of season two...so...
Apparently Denny had a twin, and the speculation is that his twin will show up, which would be quite shocking for Izzie (Katherine Heigl). Personally, I have come up with many ways that the writers could successfully bring Denny back, and in the land of the living, but Grey's isn't exactly a science fiction show. They could have had the man cryogenically frozen, I mean it's not like he couldn't have afforded it. Plus, we never did find out what happened to his body. This does put an end to the rumors that Izzie is to be killed off of the show--unless, of course she dies and meets Denny's soul upon her demise. The entire reason to bring Denny back would center around an Izzie storyline, which the character does need.

The Season Finale
Let's be honest, the season Finale of our favorite tv shows are usually somewhat bittersweet. With 'Grey's', it is even more-so, because this show is highly loved. Admit it-you are an addict. If you weren't, you wouldn't be here right now with me, now would you? Last season the writers were on strike, which left us avid viewers in a lurch for over four months. We were told that we were lucky just to get a finale to begin with. Hence, the storyline was very disrupted, hastily pasted back together, and with little thought as to what was really happening we were left with a half assed episode that made us ponder quite a few things.
Normally, the season finale thrusts us a cliffhanger, or some situation that leaves us with gaping mouths, racing minds, and bugged out eyes. The first season of Grey's (with it's whopping nine episodes!) ended with Meredith, who was falling hard for Dr. Derek Shepard, coming face to face with none other than his McBitchy wife- who no one even knew existed. Jaws dropped, yes. Season two, was equally shocking; Izzie's handsome, wonderful, seemingly perfect heart transplant patient who asked for her hand in marriage (and recieved it), Denny, dies very unexpectedly. We were (and still are, I can't even WATCH those last two eps, it breaks my heart so) heartbroken, and have yet to forgive the writers who tore Denny from our grasp. Mer-Der reunited, albeit immorally (which is really what we expect of them anyway, right?), and left us literally hanging on until the last minute. Season three found us at the unlikely wedding of Dr's Yang and Burke, where, surprizingly, HE left HER at the altar.
So, what did season four leave us with? Seriously.
Everyone kissed. Every one! With the exception of Bailey, and Dr Christina Yang, who seemed at ease with her place in the hospital, and finally happy with her position, enough so that she could actually sit back and relax. Alex had a meltdown, and made out with Izzie (who was fresh off of her bad relationship with George), begging her for sex. Mer-Der got back together and kissed, but it was rather dull wasn't it? Even the Chief got Adele back and got himself a little peck. George friend-kissed Lexie (who he should hook up with cause HELLO! Finally a girlfriend who he is actually bigger than, as the rest were far too tall for him), and the biggest shocker? Not only did nobody kiss the McPerfect, McSexy, McPlease-take-your-shirt-off-for-us-one-more-time, McSteamy, but the two chicks that he would have gotten away with, kissed each other! Yes, Callie and Erica Hahn finally made out, and uh... well, that was a bit awkward.
Let me start by saying I have no problem with any same-sex oriented relationships, and actually I believe that it is about time for tv to catch up with that and make it less taboo, but...I just don't buy these two making out. What is the deal? They are both pretty, successful, attractive, smart and talented, and gay too? C'mon, they can't have it all, can they?
Mer-Der was very cute, and very ideal. But as we know the two of these, we know that they don't do cute, or ideal. They do 'dark and twisty', and 'can't make up my mind', and 'not emotionally ready for commitment, even to you'. They are a McMess. And we just love them, don't we? Seriously. I loved Mer's reaching out to Derek, and placing the candles in the shape of their future home on the property where they will build it. But, I sense that there may be a shoe dropping here, somehow...
I will say that the last episode of season four was a letdown, even for us die-hards. It was anti-climatic, and there was no reason for it.
